Rocket Girl
![]() Rocket Girl is the daughter of famous space explorers Mr. and Mrs. Forest Reed. They have both been on the forefront of space exploration and contact with new alien life forms for many years. Their work keeps them away from home most of the time so Rocket Girl is looked after by her grandfather, who stays with her in the family home, amongst all the service robots. From an early age Rocket Girl developed a desire to follow in her parents footsteps, venturing out into the galaxy, exploring space and learning more about alien worlds and cultures. She is currently enrolled at the Space Academy with studies focusing on science, astronomy and rocket aviation. As part of her continuing training with piloting rocket ships she has been assigned a robot co-pilot who is programmed to interface with her particular model of space craft. He is suppost to act as a guide and trouble shooter for any mechanical problems that her rocket ship may encounter. Unlike most other students training in rocket aviation Rocket Girl, has befriended her co-pilot and has even gone so far as to give it a name. She refers to it as Artemus and treats it as one of her friends, inviting it to join her in her daily classes as well as offering it a place to stay in her home. Besides wanted to follow in her parents footsteps Rocket Girl, has a strong case of wanderlust. Even though she is a very gifted student she often has trouble with letting her mind wander off to visions of space travel and contact with other forms of life. She is generous and open minded, inquisitive as well as playful with those she cares about. She is smart and eager to learn but also cautious when necessary. She met Kid Danger through their studies at the Space Academy and liked his upstanding manner. She also liked the fact that he was different from most of the other kids his age. Even though he was younger than her by two years she enjoyed his company and the conversations they had. Conversations which usually end up in adventure. |
